About this recipe for classic blueberry muffins made with no added sugar.

This is a recipe for soft and fluffy bakery style muffins that are made with no added sugar.
These simple muffins feature fresh blueberries along with optional sugar free white chocolate chips.

To make this recipe we will first make the batter.

Then we will bake the muffins in a preheated oven.
Lastly, after the muffins have cooled, we can enjoy them!

Ingredients needed to make Easy Sugar Free Blueberry Muffins.

  • Flour. You can sub in any kind of all purpose flour (such as low carb all purpose flour) as long as it measures like regular all purpose flour.
  • Baking Powder. Added for leavening the muffins.
  • Salt. A small amount is all that is needed for balance.
  • Sugar Alternative. Use a granular sugar alternative that measures like sugar and that can also be baked with. You can also add additional sugar alternative to the tops of the muffins.
  • Milk. While whole milk can make these muffins really moist, certainly an alternative, such as almond milk, can be used.
  • Oil. Use a neutral oil such as vegetable oil.
  • Egg. Your egg should be at room temperature for best results.
  • Vanilla Extract. I prefer 'pure' vanilla extract rather than an imitation for this recipe.
  • Sugar Free White Chocolate Chips. This is an optional ingredient however, the white chocolate chips really help to make the blueberries stand out.
  • Blueberries. Fresh is always best but, if you must, frozen (as in not thawed) blueberries can be used.

Expert Tip👉
When selecting blueberries, use fresh blueberries that are firm. Soft blueberries tend to spread when baked with.
